A Warm and Cozy Environment for Your Baby

As a dedicated Memphis and MidSouth newborn photographer, my first priority at Kerry Annette Photography is making sure your newborn is comfortable and safe. To create a warm and inviting environment, the studio is kept at a cozy temperature between 78 and 82 degrees Fahrenheit. This warmth helps soothe the baby, keeping them relaxed and happy. Given the higher temperature, I recommend that parents wear light and comfortable clothing to stay cool and comfortable during the session.

Feeding Your Baby

To ensure your newborn is content and sleepy during the session, I recommend waiting to feed your baby until you arrive at the studio. A well-fed baby is often a sleepy baby, which makes for peaceful and serene photos. If you are nursing, rest assured that you will have access to a private, discreet area where you can comfortably feed your baby. This space is designed with your privacy and comfort in mind, ensuring a stress-free feeding experience.

The Session Process

Once your baby is calm and comfortable, my assistant and I will begin the photography session. We take great care in handling your newborn, using gentle and soothing techniques to keep them at ease. Depending on the type of session you have chosen, the session can last up to 3 hours. This extended time allows us to capture a variety of poses and setups without rushing, ensuring we get the perfect shots.

Parent Comfort and Convenience

While we are working with your baby, you can relax in our comfortable sitting area. We provide refreshments to make your wait enjoyable. Whether you want to unwind with a cup of coffee or a snack, we have you covered. Our goal is to create a relaxing experience for the whole family, making the session enjoyable and stress-free.

Viewing Your Photos with Kerry Annette Photography

Turnaround Time and Viewing Appointment

After your session, the normal turnaround time for your photos is about 3 weeks, although sometimes it can be sooner. Once your images are ready, we will schedule an appointment for you to come back to the studio and view them. This personalized viewing session allows you to see the beautiful moments we’ve captured and decide on your favorite images.

Ordering and Displaying Your Photos

During your viewing appointment, we will help you place your print order. If you need suggestions, we are more than happy to assist you in choosing the best ways to display your finished images in your home. Whether you prefer framed prints, canvas wraps, or a custom album, we offer a range of options to suit your style and needs.
